The victim was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries following the 6:30 p.m. crash Saturday on Outwater Lane near Alaska Street, Capt. Darren Sucorowski said Monday.
The 33-year-old female Garfield driver remained at the scene.
No charges or summonses were immediately issued while police investigate the circumstances of the crash.
